The “drive-in volcano”

About Sulphur Springs
At the Sulphur Springs Park a short guided route takes you past fumaroles, bubbling mud and fissures in the old volcanic crater, the heart of the Pitons area’s geothermal field. Afterwards most people try the mud baths: grey volcanic mud on the skin, then a rinse in warm spring water. Go in the morning or late afternoon for cooler air and fewer visitors, and bring swimwear and a towel.
