About Saint Lucia Distillers: the Rhythm of Rum tour

Saint Lucia Distillers was formed in 1972, when the island’s last two distilleries came together, and today it works in the agricultural Roseau Valley, home to the village of Jacmel, just south of Marigot Bay. The guided Rhythm of Rum tour takes about an hour and covers fermentation, distilling, blending and ageing, ending with a tasting. Individual visitors are welcome Monday to Friday, except public holidays, with the first tour at 9am and the last at 3pm; groups of 14 or more can book any day. The Rhum Shoppe sells at factory prices, and the site is wheelchair accessible (motorised wheelchairs are not allowed).
