About Daren Sammy Cricket Ground
Daren Sammy was the first Saint Lucian to play international cricket for the West Indies, and he captained them to two ICC T20 World Cup wins; in 2016 the national stadium was renamed in his honour. It hosts international matches and the Saint Lucia Kings’ CPL games, and the tourism authority recommends the floodlit evening matches for their atmosphere. Check Cricket West Indies and the CPL for fixtures.
