Howelton Estate
Chocolate in an 1896 estate house
About Howelton Estate
Howelton Estate stands a little more than 200 metres above Castries, on Morne Fortune. The house was named in 1896 and is one of the island’s older buildings, and today it is home to artisans: Howelton Batik, Howelton Chocolates and Howelton Creations handbags. You can walk round the estate house, watch demonstrations, or book a chocolate workshop (bean to bar) or a candle-making class. It is closed on Mondays, Sundays and public holidays.
